Hello We are thrilled to announce that KBA entered 2010 with a positive start, ushering many new initiatives, ventures and activities. In this issue we share exciting news on our different NEBOSH involvements, our busy schedules which has had our personnel and team covering different regions and our success in securing the SAC-Singlass accreditation with KBA Engineering. Hello Training With the end of 2009 approaching, in this issue we wish to keep the introduction short and sweet! Why? Hello The recent months have been varied and busy for KBA, with Rozani and the climbing team having a successful expedition to Kazakhstan and climbing 3 new peaks; the new diving bell that was provided by Global Industries Asia Pacific Pte Ltd for the training of DMT in bell medical situations being established in operation and with training courses being successfully conducted in Bali, UAE, Japan, Batam, Saudi Arabia and of course Singapore- one of these new courses was the BOWTIE XP Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation training provided with our partner Governors from Holland, which was a first for

Diary from Rozani (the team are home safe and well) In a team of 3, David Lim, Grant Rawlinson and myself we made up ‘The Spirit of Singapore Expedition 2009’ attempting unclimbed Peaks in the Central Tien Shan Mountain Range. It was a successful expedition for us. Facing the unknown terrain, deep snow and bad weather, we managed to climb 3 mountains over a period of 11 days. The 1st peak was 4587 meters high and was climbed on 7th August. Starting at 5 am from base camp, it took us almost 9 hours in total reach the peak and
