As the Managing Director of KB Associates; Darren has brought into KBA a wide range of diving and safety management and training expertise.
Qualified as an HSE Part2 Saturation diver, IMCA Bell Diving Supervisor, he has previously worked in the Asia Pacific, China, United Kingdom and South American regions. Registered with IRCA UK as an OHSAS18001 Lead Auditor, Darren is also a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Safety & Occupational Health (CFIOSH). He has been an active member of the IMCA Diving Division Management Committee (DDMC) for the last 12 years. He holds a MSc in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management.
Having worked in the Offshore Oil & Gas Diving industry since 1990 as a diver, diving supervisor, client representative, diving system auditor, company auditor, HSE and diving management trainer and prior to that in the military as a Military Diving Instructor training divers to HSE Part 1 standard he has an overall career within the diving industry spanning from 1979.
Darren brings to KBA the hands - on experience of both training and offshore operations & management which drives the consultancy and training services of the company.
As the Managing Director of KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd, he plays a leading role in the design and continually revision of all KBA training courses to stay current with accrediting bodies and industry requirements.
